Continuing on with the archival releases of the ZONED OUT back catalog, In For The Kill Records is proud to issue "Mystic Voyage". This 4-track 36 minute EP is yet another foray into the cosmic jazz rock improv laden psychedelia that the band was always sculpting. You can hear earlier iterations, medleys and realisations of material that would end up on their lone studio LP ("Eyes Within A Dream", IFTK 009), a slight meditation on an old La Otracina song ("California Orange Sunshine") and some truly outer limits improvisational wizardry. This is definitively adventurous and sonically delicious music.

On this recording date, the band was a quartet featuring the twin guitars of Philippe Ortanez and Federico Bolagno in addition to founding members Dan Bates (electric bass guitar) and Adam Kriney (drums).

This release was previously issued as ZONED OUT "VOL 1." in 2012 on the Colour Sounds Recordings label (CSR 042) and was exclusively sold as a limited edition CD-R on the 2012 La Otracina European Tour, with original cover art by Federico Bolagno.

This will be a digital only release unless there is ample demand for small batch physical release in either cassette or CD format.
